Innsbruck's highest vantage point

1,700 m above the city! Three cable cars take you up to Innsbruck's highest vantage point, the Top of Innsbruck, in less than 30 minutes.

The ride to the Top of Innsbruck starts directly in the old town just five minutes away from the Golden Roof at the Congress station. The modern Hungerburgbahn takes you from here to the Hungerburg in just 8 minutes, with the option of getting off at the Alpenzoo.

Once there, it's just a few steps up to the 1,905 m high Seegrube, where a change to the Hafelekarbahn takes you to the Top of Innsbruck, the 2,256 m high viewing point of the round trip, in just two and a half minutes.

If that's not high enough, you can walk to the 2,334 m high Hafelekarspitze in just under 15 minutes.

Walk to the highest point of the Nordkette and experience a summit atmosphere at the TOP OF INNSBRUCK without long climbs. Walking time from the Hafelekar station: approx. 10-15 minutes.

1,700 m above the city! The impressive experience at the Top of Innsbruck is within everyone's reach thanks to the direct connection to the city. It is not uncommon for guests to catch a glimpse of the otherwise shy wild animals on the Nordkette and, above all, the unique panorama of the city and mountains leaves nothing to be desired.

On the way up to the summit cross, the geotrail stations offer interesting insights into the formation of the Karwendel. The wide path up to the summit offers alternating views into the Karwendel and down over the Inn Valley.
