About Monti Beton & Johann K.:

There is hardly a band in Europe that dedicates itself as intensively to the cultivation of upscale rock and pop music - without acting as a typical cover band - as the Vienna-based group MONTI BETON. Specifically, for over 40 years the band has dedicated itself primarily to artists and groups who are no longer seen live, but whose music can now be regarded as contemporary.

In doing so, MONTI BETON always succeeds in tapping into the roots of this music and its artists, thus conveying the greatest possible message of the original without imitating it, but rather interpreting it in the typical MONTI BETON style, i.e. in a humorously entertaining way. MONTI BETON has its own full-length programs dedicated to the music of the Beatles, Elvis, Kinks, Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, David Bowie and the Doors, among others.

Together with goleador Hans Krankl, the Viennese cult band has now developed six further programs, of which they will conjure up a “best of” on stage on 23 August.
