Via Ferrata closed
  • General,

Due to the early onset of winter, the Innsbruck via ferrata is closed until further notice.

Thank you very much for your understanding!

Sponsorship Alpine Marmot
  • General,

We are very happy that we are sponsor of the marmots at the Alpine Zoo since last week!

Alpine Marmots can grow up to 60 cm tall and share their enclosure at the Alpine Zoo with the bearded vultures and the Alpine crows, where they can be easily observed by visitors.

In the course of the long-standing cooperation with the Alpine Zoo and the sponsorship, two special visitor tickets were developed, which can also be purchased conveniently in our online store. The "Top of Innsbruck PLUS"-ticket includes the highlights on the Nordkette in one ticket, namely the trip to the Hafelekar and admission to the Alpine Zoo. The "Kombi-Ticket Alpenzoo" includes the ride with the Hungerburgbahn and the entrance to the Alpine Zoo.

The Mountain of Contrasts

The mountain at the heart of Innsbruck. The Nordkette is part of Austria’s largest nature park, the Karwendel Nature Park, and can be reached directly from Innsbruck city centre in just a few minutes! The breathtaking 360° view leaves a lasting impression, with the capital of the Alps on one side and Tyrol’s most extensive conservation area on the other. The Seegrube, at an altitude of 6,250 ft invites visitors and locals alike to relax, unwind and take in nature at its very best, and also watch different Sports-Athletes as they pursue their professions.
