A GOOD DROP IN THE GLASS, THE VIEW THAT SWEEPS OVER THE CITY...
Sounds like a perfect weekend? Then head up to the Seegrube on 8 and 9 August, when exclusive Austrian winegrowers will be ringing in the winery on the forecourt of the "Gruabn", creating a very special kind of wine festival!
What could be better than strolling between the market stalls on the forecourt in the sunshine with relaxing background music and tasting exclusive Austrian wines alongside delicacies from the Seegrube restaurant?
A WEEKEND FULL OF ENJOYMENT
The wine festival opens on Saturday at 12 noon. A detour to the Gruabn winery is of course also a good idea after a sporty day in the mountains - you can take the Seegrubenbahn back down to the valley in the evening until 7 pm. The winegrowers also serve their wines on Sunday from 12 noon to 4 pm and look forward to welcoming many visitors.
No admission on the mountain - the Tirol leisure ticket is valid!
PARTICIPATING WINEMAKERS IN FRONT OF THE CURTAIN
The Gradisnik winery is once again taking part this year. For the family business from southern Styria, it is a wonderful experience every year to be able to present their wines in the beautiful setting between the mountains and the city.
The Pomaßl winery from the Wachau region also enjoys coming to Innsbruck year after year and is thrilled by the difference in altitude between the 340 m altitude at which its home is located and the Seegrube at 1,905 m above sea level. The special white and red wines from the Nahe Dürnstein region are part of her luggage.
Also from the Wachau region is the Josef Fischer winery, which already had its special white wines tasted high above Innsbruck last year.
Weingut Michael Auer is once again delighted to be able to present its wines this year, which, according to its own statement, always mature with a large portion of passion and the joy of experimentation.
The wines of Weingut Esterhazy come from one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world. The special climate of Lake Neusiedl and the Leitha Mountains ensure fruitiness, freshness, finesse and liveliness. These special wines can also be enjoyed high above Innsbruck!
