Franz Baumann is one of the architects who had a lasting impact on the image of classical modernism in Tyrol.
He was born in Innsbruck in 1892 and attended the Higher Technical College in Innsbruck. During his training, he completed several internships with an Innsbruck construction company. After completing his training, he spent three years in Merano, where he worked on the construction of large hotels and cable car projects.
